Lizzy + Bizhan : Saddlerock Ranch Wedding
I was introduced to Lizzy and Bizhan by my dear friend and colleague Star from Star Hansen Events. Their wedding took place at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, CA. Saddlerock Ranch has several venue spaces for weddings and theirs was at the main house where Stanley lives! You don't know who Stanley is?! Yea, I didn't either at first!
Did you watch Hangover 3? Remember that scene where Alan (played by Zach Galifianakis) had a giraffe in his car and drove under a low bridge and well... you get the rest. That giraffe was played by Stanley! If you're not having your wedding at Saddlerock Ranch but want to visit Stanley, you can totally do that by taking the Malibu Wine Safaris. You'll get to see other animals too... zebras, llamas, water buffalos, a camel, horses, and of course Stanley!
But I digress. Back to why I'm writing this post... Lizzy and Bizhan's wedding can be described as outdoor glam. Lizzy not only had one pair of sparkly Louboutin's but two!! A matching heel and no heel pairs! I was in shoe heaven when she pulled those lovelies out of their boxes. It's like time slowed for a moment as light shines from the box revealing these perfect wedding shoes. And let's not forget Bizhan! He also had a pair of Loubs!
Lizzy and Bizhan decided not to have a first look and waited until she walked down the aisle to see each other for the first time. Biz cried, I mean... he had allergies, that's right... allergies. It was such a tender and sweet moment to witness the overwhelming emotions from both of them as they saw each other for the first time. You'll see what I mean when you scroll down to the photos.
The reception took place under beautiful trees and hanging chandeliers. It was so romantic and even more so with the presence of a live band. The bride and groom dined and danced the night away with their guests surrounding them with so much love and joy. So much joy that they broke their knife as they were cutting their cake!
Here are some of the photos from their wedding day. Enjoy!
And as always... love one another, be graceful and filled with gratitude, forgive and let go. xo
