Published in California Wedding Day Magazine: Chheng + Matthew Malibu Rocky Oaks Wedding

Talk about a view!!! Malibu Rocky Oaks boasts one of the most stunning views in Malibu.  There's a helipad where couples can have their ceremony and WOW! just wow!  See pics below of the ceremony site that give me the goosebumps every time I see it.  And guess what?!  This wedding was printed in the California Wedding Day Magazine!!!

Chheng and Matt dated over 10 years before they tied the knot.  But the surprise of the morning was when Matt proposed to Chheng during their first look.  You see, he never officially proposed.  He knew it was important to Chheng and would mean a lot to her... there wasn't a dry eye in the room.  He got down on his knee, she cried, I cried, and pretty much anyone that witnessed it shed some tears.  It was a beautiful moment and I'm forever grateful to have been there to capture it all.

Their wedding colors were rose gold, blush, white, and grey.  They wanted it to feel Hawaii meets California because they met at the UofHawaii.  There were lots of orchids, roses, and greenery.

The ceremony was held at the helipad where guests have a nearly 360 degree view of the Malibu hills.  They were serenaded by the amazing Josh Vietti during the ceremony and reception.  If you haven't seen Josh's many many youtube videos, check out his work here

I absolutely love their sweetheart table!  It was decorated so beautifully with florals, rose gold chargers and utensils, and coordinating Mr. and Mrs. engraved champagne glasses.

The sunset that night was epic.  The sky was golden and made for amazing photos!
